Oklahoma Volunteer Ministers Help Clear the Debris

The Volunteer Ministers have been helping local residents to clean up after the storms and to remove debris from the wheat fields which are a major part of the local economy. Their work so far has saved close to half a million Dollars in potential lost income.

Volunteer Minister Activation Call: Major Floods in Calgary, Canada

Large areas of downtown Calgary have been evacuated due to flooding. This has displaced over 75,000 people.

On 21 June the City of Calgary declared a state of local emergency due to major floods.  Two dozen neighborhoods have been evacuated and most of the estimated 75,000 people have been displaced.  The impact was felt as far afeld as British Columbia, where roads in the mountains are being closed, and Saskatchewan.  

Tampa Volunteer Ministers Answer the Oklahoma Call

The Tampa Volunteer ministers from the Clearwater Academy have answered the call and are now helping at the Shawnee Relief Center just outside Norman Oklahoma. 

This Center is adjacent to one of the worst hit areas.  The team has been organizing up the donations from the local area as well as assisting clear away debris from the storms.

Oklahoma needs Volunteer Ministers more than ever

The Volunteer Ministers have been helping the families in the Shawnee region with the massive distruction from the Tornadoes in the last few weeks. Many of the houses have been completely destroyed and we need as many strong arms as possible to help the locals rebuild.  EVERY VOLUNTEER MINISTER IN THE UNITED STATES  NEEDS TO MOBILIZE AND ANSWER THE CALL NOW!

Shawnee Relief Center asks for Help

Volunteers needed!

Joava Good the Deputy Natonal Director for Churches of Scientology Disaster Response is on site in Oklahoma and is working with the Govenor of the Shawnee Nation to assist the people affected. The Volunteer Ministers have responded to the request for help from the Shawnee Relief Center to organize and distribute the donations that have been coming in from the local area. Many more volunteers are needed as this is a mammoth task to get these items actually out to the people who have lost their enire homes and are starting from scratch. 

Oklahoma Assessment Call

The Volunteer Ministers Advance Inspection team on the scene has an assessment and determined that 100 Volunteer ministers are needed on the ground right now.  What is most needed and wanted is:

The current temperature in the tornado areas in Oklahoma ranges around 80 degrees F (27 degree C) at daytime. For the next days more rain and hail is predicted. Travel as light as you can but be ready for the weather:

Oklahoma Tornadoes - Wichita Volunteer Ministers respond to the Call

As soon as the call went out, Wichita Volunteer ministers immediately responded and sent a team to Moore, OK, one of the hardest hit areas.  The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have been flat out delivering assists to local public and training relief workers on Assist Tech developed by L. Ron Hubbard.
