Scientology Volunteer Ministers receive President's Volunteer Service Award at the Church of Scientology's Fort Harrison

On April 15th, 15,000 hours of volunteer service by 16 individuals and groups was rewarded with the President’s Volunteer Service Awards at the Church of Scientology’s Fort Harrison.  There were over 200 guests in attendance representing 40 different volunteer organizations.

Florida Blood Services and the Church of Scientology's Volunteer Ministers are 'Spring'-ing Into Saving Lives Through Their First Donor Drive of 2015

The Florida Blood Services One Blood and the Volunteer Ministers of the Church of Scientology of Tampa held a blood donor drive at 300 South Garden Ave in downtown Clearwater. The drive was open to any who qualify to donate blood. "Spring and Spring Break are right around the corner, a time for many to hit the roads for holiday fun," said Church of Scientology spokesperson Pat Harney.

Scientology Volunteer Ministers provided physical and spiritual help to the rescue workers at Ground Zero who worked around the clock after the terror attack.

Most Americans, if asked, would be able to tell you exactly what they were doing when they heard about the World Trade Center terrorist attack in 2001. It had that much impact on the lives of people throughout the United States and, in fact, on people all over the world.

“As any New Yorker would tell you, to see the twin towers erupt and then disintegrate was a living nightmare,” says LPN, EMT and Scientology Volunteer Minister Ayal Lindeman, one of the more than 800 Scientologists who served at Ground Zero.
